TUPELO, Miss. — New research from the “Speaking with American Men” (SAM) project, reported by Politico, revealed that young men are abandoning the Democratic Party, drawing attention to the belief that it is out of touch, weak and dismissive of their concerns. “Participants described the Democratic Party as overly-scripted and cautious, while Republicans are seen as confident and unafraid to offend,” stated Politico. The survey also reported that only 27% of young men view the Democratic Party favorably and that there is a deeper frustration in regard to how the party frames masculinity.
Walker Wildmon, CEO of AFA Action, the governmental affairs affiliate of the American Family Association, responded to the findings in this study, alluding to the fact that this generational wake-up call was fueled by the Left’s constant dismissal of masculinity.
“The Left spent years mocking manhood, dismantling fatherhood and labeling masculinity as ‘toxic’ — and now they’re shocked that young men are walking away,” says Wildmon. “This isn’t just a political shift, it’s a generational wake-up call. Men are hungry for purpose, strength and truth, not drag queen story hours, gender confusion or apologies for being male. At AFA Action, we don’t apologize for believing strong men build strong families, and strong families build a strong nation. Masculinity isn’t the problem; it’s part of the solution.”
