TUPELO, Miss. — The assassination of Charlie Kirk has brought to light the years of evidence against transgender acts of political violence. Kirk’s alleged assassin was a gay male whose roommate identified as transgender; LGBTQ ideologies seem to have played a key part in motivating the assassin to take Kirk’s life. The recent shooting at Annunciation Catholic Church in Minnesota was also provoked by a male who was said to be “transgender.” And just last week, the attempted assassin of Supreme Court Justice Kavanaugh was a biological male who identifies as a transgender woman.
“This isn’t random — there is a growing pattern of violence tied to transgender ideology, and it’s costing innocent lives,” said Walker Wildmon, CEO of AFA Action, the governmental affairs affiliate of the American Family Association. “From school shootings to assassinations, every tragedy is met with silence from the same media that would fuel outrage and fan the flames of hatred if the roles and ideologies were reversed. America can’t afford to keep looking the other way. The LGBTQ ideology thrives on lies and deception. God is the author of truth, and our culture must begin to embrace this reality. We must also understand that this is not just a cultural battle — it’s a spiritual one, and the longer we ignore the fact that this has grown into a national crisis, the more people will be radicalized by a lie that destroys both body and soul. Men and women are created in the image of God, and we must embrace this truth.”
