TUPELO, Miss.— This November, Missouri voters will decide the fate of the state’s stance on abortion with a proposed abortion amendment. According to Ballotpedia, Missouri Amendment 3 would give voters “the right to make and carry out decisions about all matters relating to reproductive health care.” The proposed amendment appearing on the ballot this November “would allow for abortions to be legal up until ‘fetal viability’ and would have protections for those assisting an abortion to not be persecuted.”
“The Missouri Supreme Court’s decision to greenlight a dangerous abortion amendment for the November ballot is a slap in the face to pro-life citizens who value the sanctity of life,” said Walker Wildmon, CEO of AFA Action, the governmental affairs affiliate of the American Family Association. “This dangerous amendment would legalize abortion up until ‘fetal viability’ — the point when the baby could survive outside of the womb — and shield those who perform this barbaric act. Missouri, along with other states, is facing an aggressive, well-funded agenda to strip away protections for the unborn.
“While VP Kamala Harris and other Washington Leftists try to downplay the horrors of late-term abortions, claiming these murderous acts aren’t happening, the truth is clear: the sanctity of life is under attack. Americans who value life must stand up, reject these pro-death initiatives, and defend every life from conception to natural death.”
