TUPELO, Miss. — The upcoming November midterm elections present a pivotal decision for the control of Congress, as a historic redistricting battle resulted in new congressional maps across the country. For the past year, the republican party has been redrawing congressional districts in several states — Florida, Ohio, North Carolina and more — while democrats are drawing the lines in California, Utah and Virginia. According to CBN, “Republicans may have created somewhere between six and 10 additional GOP-leaning House districts heading into November. Current polling, however, shows that might not be enough to keep GOP control of the House.”
