TUPELO, Miss. — This Easter Sunday, Fairfax County Virginia observed its Transgender Day of Visibility. One Virginia mom was not afraid to oust the proclamation of this observance, calling the decision “reprehensible” and stating that the Fairfax County Board of Supervisors is “intentionally trying to offend Christians on the holiest of days by forcing gender ideology down their throats.” March 31 is typically the date this event has been recognized annually, but the Fairfax Board of Supervisors voted 9-0 in favor of the proclamation.
Walker Wildmon, CEO of AFA Action, the Government Affairs Affiliate of the American Family Association, stated how overshadowing the holy day of Easter is an incomprehensible act by LGBTQ+ activists and proclaims the Left’s goal of ostracizing Christians.
“This is an intentional, hostile, and incomprehensible act by LGBTQ+ activists in this Virginia county with the purpose of overshadowing a day that signifies the foundation of the Christian faith,” says Wildmon. “LGBTQ+ activists have consistently accused Christians of bullying behaviors, calling for ‘diversity’ while simultaneously attacking the Christian faith at its core by choosing a Holy day to promote their dark agenda. These deliberate acts are hypocritical and underscore the true agenda of the Left – to ostracize the Christian community. The Left is the epitome of intolerance and agitation displayed toward Christians.”
