TUPELO, Miss. — A recent field trip to the Kentucky Science Center left children engaging with sexually graphic coloring books intended for adults. Created by Planned Parenthood, the book displays male and female private parts, including crosswords and word searches that contain sexually inappropriate information for children. According to a Todd Starnes news article, “It turns out that Planned Parenthood ‘inadvertently’ [distributed] the graphic books to the children.”
Walker Wildmon, CEO of AFA Action, the governmental affairs affiliate of the American Family Association, urges that parents and government officials take action to ban inappropriate materials intended to indoctrinate America’s children.
“Handing out sexually graphic adult coloring books to eight-year-olds and claiming it was a mistake is not acceptable,” said Wildmon. “No parent should send their child on a field trip only to have them come home with Planned Parenthood propaganda filled with diagrams of genitalia and sex-ed games. What we are being sold as ‘education’ has not-so-slowly morphed into nothing less than intentional grooming, using educational labels like ‘science’ and ‘health’ in an attempt to blind parents from the atrocity. That’s why AFA Action’s Center for Government Renewal, led by Dr. Jameson Taylor, is working tirelessly on model legislation to ban obscene materials from school libraries, classrooms and digital databases. If we don’t draw a clear legal line now, groups like Planned Parenthood will keep targeting our kids with filth — and call it learning.”
