TUPELO, Miss. — Two recent polls show an incredible trend across the U.S.: the pro-life movement is gaining momentum. In June 2025, Gallup reported a two-point increase from 43% to 45% in the number of respondents who identify as pro-life. Another poll found a seven-point increase in the share of Americans believing abortion should be “illegal in all” or “most” cases.
Walker Wildmon, CEO of AFA Action, the governmental affairs affiliate of the American Family Association, was encouraged by these results yet acknowledged the left’s never-ending attempts to normalize abortion among Americans.
“Recent polls show a steady rise in Americans who believe in the sanctity of life, with more people rejecting abortion in nearly every circumstance,” said Wildmon. “But instead of listening, the left is trafficking abortion pills through the mail and stripping away drug safeguards at the FDA. The pro-abortion lobby knows public opinion is shifting, so their strategy is to force-feed abortion in an attempt to normalize it. Americans aren’t buying it. The more the left pushes their murderous agenda, the more it exposes their lies and strengthens Americans’ resolve to stand for the dignity of every life.”
