TUPELO, Miss.— Media bias strikes again as ABC News is accused of presenting “misinformation” regarding a Minnesota law, House File 146, that allows the state to take transgender children away from parents who deny hormonal or gender-changing surgeries for their children. Ohio Senator and VP candidate J.D. Vance was recently interviewed by ABC News’ Jonathan Karl who pressed Vance on Minnesota Gov. Tim Walz’s signed law.
Walker Wildmon, CEO of AFA Action, the governmental affairs affiliate of the American Family Association commented on the aftermath of the interview, stating that ABC News’ bias toward Walz is a prime example of the media’s bias toward liberal views and the impact the media has on shaping the opinions of voters this election season.
“The recent reporting by ABC News is not just misleading; it is a blatant example of the dying legacy media’s agenda to normalize radical gender ideologies at the expense of the rights of parents and children,” says Wildmon. “The law Governor Walz signed does, in fact, open the door for the state to separate children from parents who refuse to conform to these dangerous, unscientific demands. The democratic party more broadly has become the anti-child and anti-family party. AFA Action will always stand firm in defending the God-given rights of parents to protect their children from harmful ideologies.”
