In the age of social media, there is something every American needs to think carefully about: information overload.
With the rise of independent journalism and platforms like X and Facebook, we now have instant access to more news than ever before. In many ways, that’s a good thing. But it also means it’s easier than ever to fall prey to conspiracy theories and narratives that have no factual basis.
As Christians, especially, we have a responsibility to pursue truth, not just the version of events that fits the narrative we want to believe.
Take the recent U.S. strike on Iran, for example. There has been a lot of speculation online about why it happened. But when you look at the available evidence, the picture becomes clearer. Iranian negotiators themselves admitted they possessed enough enriched uranium to potentially produce multiple nuclear weapons. At the same time, Iran was dramatically expanding its missile and drone production, faster than our defensive system could keep up.
In other words, U.S. intelligence suggested the window to act was closing. The more that information comes out, the more it appears that President Trump acted at exactly the right time.
If you haven’t listened yet, I encourage you to hear the full breakdown on this week’s episode of At the Core. In a world flooded with narratives, it’s more important than ever to slow down, examine the facts, and pursue truth.
Sincerely,
