President Trump’s nominee to the Seventh Circuit Rebecca Taibleson recently had her nomination hearing in the Senate Judiciary Committee. Sadly, President Trump was ill-advised as Taibleson does not meet the constitutionalist standard for nomination to a federal circuit court. Accordingly, AFA Action's Center for Judicial Renewal has ranked Ms. Taibleson as a "priority stop."
Ms. Taibleson was a board member of a church pre-school whose accreditation association stated “it is never too early to positively support young children’s gender exploration” and encouraged teachers to respect “young children’s descriptions of themselves, such as ‘I’m a boygirl!’” or “princessboy.” Additionally, Taibleson and her husband have donated to Democrat politicians. Moreover, they are affiliated with a congregation that promotes LGBT ideologies, abortion, and leftist “Get out the Vote” organizations, and partners with a group that promotes judicial activism and is fervently anti-originalism. The Taiblesons appear to have had their wedding officiated by a rabbi who currently serves at another, separate pro-LGBT congregation. Lastly, Ms. Taibleson has donated to a radical woke pro-LGBT non-profit which promotes liberal political positions on transgenderism, marriage, life, and other issues. Keep the pressure on the Senate Judiciary Committee to oppose this nomination and protect the distinguished federal judiciary from the threat of judicial activism. Grassroots conservatives must hold elected officials accountable in order to advance a conservative agenda. It is, therefore, imperative we stay engaged and get only strong constitutionalist judicial nominees across the finish line.
