The Worst Thing that Could Happen in Minnesota is Happening: Stop SF 63

This is one of the most concerning emails I’ve ever sent to you. The state of Minnesota is on the fast track to remove your rights as a parent and the threat is real.

SF 63 is a very dangerous bill rapidly advancing through the Minnesota Senate. The bill (HF 146) has already passed the Minnesota House, and Governor Tim Walz is likely to sign it. The bill amounts to kidnapping children when their parents object to experimental transgender procedures. 

SF 63 gives a Minnesota court custody of kids seeking “gender-affirming” care, if their parents refuse to allow such care. The bill would make Minnesota a “trans-refuge” state by ignoring child protection laws passed in other states. The dangers to children and parents in neighboring states are obvious: state-sanctioned kidnapping and medical manipulation. 

Call and email your state senator now and ask him/her to vote NO! on SF 63.

If passed, this law could very well be used to remove children in Minnesota from their parents. SF 63 basically categorizes a parent’s denial of experimental hormone blockers and surgical interventions as child abuse.

Will the law be used to remove children in Minnesota from their parents? Very likely. And even if the bill is amended to specifically exclude Minnesota residents, how long will it be before the courts decide otherwise?

These “unintended” consequences are plain for all to see. The rights of Minnesota parents will be terminated if they try to persuade their children to wait, to think about the lifelong ramifications of their decisions, to consider that, maybe, there are better alternatives, like counseling and prayer and the healing that comes from God’s grace.

This bill is on the fast track and could pass the full Senate within the next week or two.
